Question:

If I already have a CableCARD in my television set and I buy a new Digital Cable Ready CableCARD-compatible device (e.g., a DVR), can I use the CableCARD from my TV in that new device?

Answer:

No. It is not recommended that you move CableCARDs between devices as it will result in loss of services. If you would like to use your previously activated CableCARD in another device, please Contact Us to schedule an appointment.
